Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2010 Mercury Insurance Open. The event continues to be the summer's premier event at the beautiful La Costa Resort and Spa. More than 500 Volunteers and 100 Ball Kids are needed each year to bring the tournament to life. Qualifying matches begin on Saturday, July 31st and the main draw runs from Monday, August 2nd through Sunday, August 8th.

Volunteers are expected to pledge a minimum of four shifts lasting 4-5 hours each and must attend one of two orientations of approximately two hours. At the orientation, you will be provided with a volunteer packet consisting of your tournament credential, parking pass, an attractive uniform shirt (to be worn with your own khaki pants or shorts), sweatshirt, hat, fanny pack and valuable information about the 2010 tournament. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Ballpersons must be 10 years or older.

Ballpersons: If you are interested in being a Ballperson you must be at least 10 years old, an experienced tennis player and attend the tryout. Ballperson Tryout is May 22 at 1 pm La Costa Resort and Spa, fill out the form below and bring to the tryouts.
